Plain & Precious
I am near the end of The Second Book of Nephi in my study of The Book of Mormon. My understanding is small, but I know the importance is great. What a beautiful beginning and conclusion to the teachings of Jacob & Nephi relating the words of Isaiah:
4 And now, behold, I would speak unto you concerning things which are, and which are to come; wherefore, I will read you the words of Isaiah. And they are the words which my brother has desired that I should speak unto you. And I speak unto you for your sakes, that ye may learn and glorify the name of your God.
5 And now, the words which I shall read are they which Isaiah spake concerning all the house of Israel; wherefore, they may be likened unto you, for ye are of the house of Israel. And there are many things which have been spoken by Isaiah which may be likened unto you, because ye are of the house of Israel.
2 Nephi 6:4-5
20 Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.
21 And now, behold, my beloved brethren, this is the way; and there is none other way nor name given under heaven whereby man can be saved in the kingdom of God. And now, behold, this is the doctrine of Christ, and the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God, without end. Amen.

Simple Saves Sanity
Introducting a series of simple things that, at times, are the means to the end of a day
SSS I: The image that sparks this series is the one that I saw while driving down the highway. As I passed a small car, something caught my eye. In place of a side view mirror was a large portrait-sized mirror duct taped to the door. LOL! Not just any regular mirror either, a golden framed mirror. I wondered how that possibly came about and laughed as I watched the car exit with that oversized, gaudy mirror. Speaking of means to an end... That spectacle made my day and continues to bring a smile to my face.

Blessings of the Temple
"Teachings of the temple are beautifully simple and simply beautiful. They are understood by the humble, yet they can excite the intellect of the brightest minds."

3 Simple Habits
- Always remember Jesus Christ
- Pray with real intent
- Study the scriptures
"The compounding effect of daily disciplines, with purpose and real intent, can make a big difference in all areas of your life. It can mean the difference between struggling through an ordinary life, or being immensely successful and filling the measure of your creation."
Small and simple daily habits expose us to light necessary for growth. "The source of all light" is the Savior, Jesus Christ.
